Hello

I am originally from Crystal Falls, Michigan, a small town in the upper peninsula. Crystal Falls is a community oriented town which I enjoyed very much growing up. Being a part of a close community has taught me a lot about dependability, loyalty, and a strong work ethic which I have been able to utilize throughout most of my life and plan to with my career. I did very well with grades in high school, but I wasn't too sure what I wanted to do when I were to graduate. When I first heard of computer science, I was a little hesitant at first because I had never coded prior to college. After my first semester, I knew that I wanted to purse computer science. Throughout college, I enjoyed what I was learning, but I eventually didn't become completely satisfied with the work I was doing. I then heard about the multimedia design minor. This way I could still learn about coding, as well as how to be creative with my work. I loved how I could contribute to a project in so many different ways. Whether that be creating the logo, designing the interface, or coding the functions. This is why I am passionate about becoming a UX/UI designer.
